As prompted by the "states" thread, There's a bunch of us up around here in the North East - New England, NY, NJ - maybe even Pennsylvania if you bring some Yeungling...
I'd like to see a shoot happen in the warm months - April, May or so...Any ideas for a place?
Just starting the conversation here. |

Place and time. As long as it is 6 hours or less I'll be there. Northeast Pa or somewhere around southern New York is pretty central. |

I agree and Pa would probably be best with NY second, even though i am in NY. But i would be happy to have one period.

How about the Capitol region of NY? Or the Hudson Valley? Those of us in Long island, NJ or Pennsylvania. can head up, and those in Massachusetts. New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine can head down?
I would recommennd the preserve that I go to, but it is a rough-shod, no luxurt type of outfit. (They have a sign on their lodge- "This aint the Waldorf Astoria"). I also wouldn't mind experiencing something new. If you guys get it going, and my schedule permits, let me know.

I assume we are talking like a sporting clays, trap type event since the hunting seasons will be over by then.
I'd be interested. Like others, depending on my schedule and what's going on, I'd make a trip. |

Long as I don't have to shoot with TJC, or slow the BAT(big ass truck) down for sebagodan, or listen to another stupid duck story I'll be there. |

Mid Hudson Sporting Clays is centrally located.
Only about $45 a 100. |

For 16 gauge SxS enthusiasts, how about the May 18-20 Side x Side Championship at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow? Hidden Hollow is located in Northeastern PA, about 30 minutes south of Binghamton, NY. Quick access from I-81 and Route 17 in NY. Ernie's prices are very reasonable, and RST and other vendors usually have booths set up in a vendor tent. The event is very well attended by those interested in classic guns. The sporting course and 5-stand are second to none. Silvers

Northeast pa would be great. But May is turkey season and I think we should reserve the club to ourselves. Shoot then have some dinner and refreshments. |
