GOOD LUCK !!!! i wrote them 5 years ago and got the same sweet form letter , back when they re-introduced the 16 gauge 870 pumps. if i'm not mistaken remington has dropped the 16's from their 2007 catalog in all their domestic models. take a look and tell me if i'm wrong... think they'll listen about hulls etc ???? |

Dear Thomas:
Thank you for your interest in Remington products. We will not offer 16
gauge STS shells for 2007. The 16 gauge shotguns have been very popular and we feel the ammunition line will be expanded in the future.
Customer (Thomas Quinlen) - 02/22/2007 08:54 AM
When will Remington make their STS line in 16ga?

Well , maybe the Jolly Green Giant is finally awakening to the realities before its big dumb face. Geez, and it only took three or four brick bats upside the head.
I still will not hold my breath. You could probably light Remington's big green britches on fire and it wouldn't notice it until it finally smelled its own butt barbecuing and got a bit hungry. |

By "expanded", I fear, will actually be imported from overseas. The black game load hulls are far from perfect, but I'd rather load them, than Cheddites. |

Pumpgun, none of them are perfect. We have to face reality here. I will get one, maybe two serious hunting loads out of any of them. For casual skeet loads, my shelll mouths look like someone dumped them into a chipper. I carry a perfectly shaped 28 ga load in my pocket in case someone states I'm a slob reloader after looking at my 16 ga loads. |

Well here is the answer that I got from remington on the STS hull:

Not much different than what has been said previously, but worth the 2 min to type an email and be heard. |

The mail slot labled Consumer Feedback/Marketing Dept shuttles the mail directly into a specially placed bin that is dumped directly into the neareast dipsy dumpster labled Addressed Consumer Comments/Suggestions. The job title guy who dumps the bin is the Director of Product Developement.
without proper lables and titles, where would we ever be. |
