What's the church key doo-hickey thing on the belt?

Nice touch with the brass shells.

The church-key looking device is a shell extractor. The large end fits around the head/rim of the case so as the remove the case for the chamber if it can't be removed by fingers. Extractors only. The smaller end is to extract a brokern case that left part of the case in the chamber. I have had a couple paper cases separate in the chamber. Cut myself on the extractor trying to get the front part of the case out of the chamber. The brass cases are what I will be using in the gun. It's chambers are 2.5" and the brass cases are 2.4". So far they are working quite well. I shot a round of trap with the gun and brass shells last week. I broke 19 of the clays. The barrels are choked really tight. I intend to use spreader loads for hunting.

Great looking gun DDawg, and you must be very proud of the restoration work you did yourself! Shoot it well, and in good health! I always wanted Elke Sommer myself (was she Swedish?), but I'll be your girlfriend will be truer!
