I just bought a Model 37 16 ga. Serial number 563K. It has a solid bead rather than a ray barr sight. How do I find the production date? I bought a Model 37 in 1963 and it had a ray bar sight.

| Your gun was made in 1954 the raybar front sight was introduced in 1955. |
