Not trying to be a smart arse, but don't you think it would have been better to ask opinions on this wad, prior to ordering them. What if everyone says they're junk. You can resell them on E-bay. Wink

Well, are they giving you loading data to use for this wad? Or do you have to buy there own Precision Reloading's "Blanks To Supersonics" manual?
How many 16 gauge loads are in the manual? Are they loads you are interested in shooting? Let us know when you get your wads, and manual, if they are any good. This could be the wad we've all been waiting for.

Nantan - sounds like you're the first of us to try this wad - I'm sure if others here had tried it, you would have received feedback - you still may get some too - not everyone here is here every day...

Perhaps if you post up how you intend to use this wad - hull, powder, etc - you might get some general feedback.

Do you intend to feed this load through a modern gun? There's a big difference to what the vintage stuff will handle and what modern guns will...

Is not the Supersonic wad another made up name for the Basch. & Pell. Z2M wad series? Why not call them the B&P Z2M 16 ga. Wad? Oh, I forgot. Made up names gives Precision licence to rape us on the price for both the wad and their so called professionally developed loading data manual. How silly of me not to realize this. Rolling Eyes

Hey Gents - a little PSA for you - February is over now - it's OK to be cordial and less sarcastic now Wink

so if the precision wad is the same as the B&P (not to be confused with "BP") wad - do you have any comments on the wad as is the basic question of the topic?

Yessir I do. I've used 'em--in B&P hulls--- and I've PM'ed NANTAN2 to apologize for his mistreatment and to tell him what little I know about these wads.

Like I said in the first sentence, of my first post. I wasn't trying to be a wise guy. I just think the question should have been asked, before the wads were bought. I wouldn't buy something I know nothing about, then ask questions about it. That's what this site is all about.

I will say that Dave M. has summed this up very well YES ! that is what this site is all about.
I would also like to add that if there was any sarcastic remarks made in this thread by any member I never read them. Lets just forget this as its not worth anymore effort.

Sorry about all the dumb questions. And more sorry about all the "Bad emotions" they have caused. Shocked
I have purchased BP's "The sixteen gauge manual". I will gather whatever information I need for reloading from that.
By the way, my wads arrived yesterday from BP. I was able to use the MEC650 for the first time. I loaded up three boxes of shells, and I am thrilled with the press and the "factory" look of the reloads. Very Happy
Tonight is "Skeet" night at the club. I'll see how well they shoot.
Until I have another "dumb" question.....
Regards,
Rich Confused

Rich,
I don't think you ever did say what kind of gun your shooting.
I have never looked at BP's 16 gauge loading manual, but have been told some of there loads have a higher actual PSI than what they say.
Just a heads up.
Dave
