Anybody want to sell 500 - 1000 of their Remington R-16 Wads?
I'm not a heavy reloader but I have bunch of the black Rem. hulls and would like to try the R-16 wads in them. |

If you call Recob's I think they'll tell you they are about half way to enough orders for Remington to make another run. Let Recob's know if you want some. |

And, once more for the record (and benefit of new members who may not know)---what is Recob's telephone number and where are they located? |

Called and talked to Karen, she is the new contact.
(She said that Chris doesn't work there any more.)
Most probably already know that it's a minimum order of 5000.
I don't need nearly that many, would someone like to include me in their order for say 1000?
Let me know if you do.
Chris

An ebay auction just closed last Sunday for 1 original box of 1000 R-16 wads. #W29932. I got outbid. They went for $41 +$10 flatrate shipping.
They surface every now and then if you know where to look. |

I've offered to sell 500 or 1000 wads to a couple of folks who have requested them from me via PM in the past several monthes. I offered them at my projected replacement cost of about $9.50 shipped per 250 count. They declined. One thought I was trying to take advantage and was insulted.
I see my price was not out of line at all. I figured as much. Now, it looks like the price was a bit low in all actuality. So I'll just keep what I have and let those who want them go hunting for them elsewhere, no offence intended. This way, I avoid the issue entirely, and do not have to figure out what these wads will bring in a couple of years when I'll need to reorder. I think I did warn those who wanted them to buy plenty at the time. Some listened. Some didn't. Some were not there to hear. And so it goes. |

I ordered 5000 from them last week, get your order in, they are very close to having a large enough bunch to approach Remington, as the nice lady informed me last week....
