Ok i'm relatively new to the shotgun world. I was looking through my lion country supply magazine today and seen these guns in the back and i was wondering how there grade 1 and 2 are? The price doesn't seem to bad, are these guns worth the step up from lets say a cz or dehaan? In a 16ga. of course.

I have 1 DeHaan, 2 CZs and a Uggie, older model. And yes I would say that the Uggie is the nicest of all 4 SxSs in fit and finish, but I like them all and enjoy shooting each.

Bought a 28 ga Grade 1 from Lion country about 3 or 4 years ago. It has been a good gun for the money. I have hunted with it a fair amount, most of the time in really rotten weather and the gun has held up well. I have noticed that the case color is starting to wear.

The Uggies are about the least expensive new Spanish doubles most people would recommend. There was a thread on another BB about a guy who bought one from LCS and had problems with the safety, which weren't corrected, but I think he may have ended up with a different gun from them.
