Thanks for the heads up. I recognize the name of the high bidder, "asphaltdave". Maybe I'll wait until the last few seconds and try and snipe him.

Hey, carefull now.
Those make good 7/8 oz loads.
I just checked the auction. They are up over $30.00 including shipping, for 250 hulls. I don't want them that bad. I can trim 2-3/4" hulls, no problem.
And I thought 28 gauge hulls were expensive. |

Hulls always seem to go high on Ebay. I need to build a trimmer to easily cut 2 3/4" down to 2 1/2". Now I measure, mark and cut with an X-acto knife, but there must be an easier way. I guess it is good therapy though.... |

Maybe you gentlemen can help me? I bid on the MEC 16 gauge 600 jr. Buy me now $99.00. I don't reload now, but want to get into it. Is that a good buy at $99.00? The reserve bid is over $75.00. Can I get an honest answer? I asked on another post and did not get any responses. Just would like to start reloading my own 16 gauge shells as the price around here is going through the roof. Thank you. |

oldhunter, I have a friend at a gunshop who had a used MEC 600 16 gauge he wanted me to buy last week when I bought the 2000 WAA-16 wads that had come in with it. He quoted me what I thought was a very fair price but I passed as I already have one. If I have time I can check on it Saturday. The price was $40. I'm not looking to make anything on it (but if you make it to the Classic in May I wouldn't say no to a good cigar) and would just want the price back plus whatever shipping mode you wanted. PM me if you are interested and I'll see if he still has it and make sure it's in good working order as well. |

Seems high to me, considerding you can get a new one for about that ($100-$115) from several sources, such as Cabela's. |

New primed Fiocchi 2.5in hulls are $10/100. Why buy once fired?
