I was just wondering how large of a company Fiocchi is. I like their shells and use them in 20 and 16 gauge but have a hard time finding them. I live in Southern Illinois and none of the local sporting goods stores carry Fiocchi shells. I occasionally luck out and find a few at Gander Mountain but other wise I order them from Graffs. That is costly by the time you add shipping and handling. Bass Pro in St Louis doesn't seem to handle them and I'm not sure about Cabelas. We are supposed to be getting a Dicks sporting goods store but I don't know if they carry Fiocchi shells. Fiocchi seems like a good line of ammunition but not well distributed, at least in my area. Does anyone know of a place in St Louis that carries a good selection of Fiocchi ammunition?

I've either ordered them through a gun club or found them onsale at Gander Mountain.

I still have a boat load of them too. I also like the Federals and Remington 16 gauge loads.

Dick's doesnt carry those here in NJ. I assume you're talking about their game and target 16ga loads - the shells are blue?

I just used some of those in 8s for a round of 100 sporting clays. I typically use RGLs and just happend to find some of those Fioccis in a local sporting goods store on sale. What I noticed after the round in cleaning my shotgun that night was that it took me forever to clean all the powdery grit out of the bbls. I started with an immaculately clean gun that day, too.

Anyone else notice that these shells are much dirtier than usual?

Some of the best prices I've found on Fiocchi have been @ Lion Country Supply, especially on the Golden Pheasant when buying by the case.

You can try these guys as well but I don't know if they'll ship shells. Prices at the store were better than LCS.

You can try Cascade Ammunition in Washington state. They have a straight $7.50 shipping charde, no matter how many cases you order.

Try Able Ammo on line. They have a good selection and prices seem reasonable. Charlie
