Brit,
Glad it got resolved. I still think it's crappy that they wouldn't refund the postage given the inaccuracies of the description, and especially as they say they would have issued a call tag. That's a tap dance if I ever heard one! Oh well; on to bigger and better things for ya.

Nice to know that the Win 21 debacle pretty well worked out OK. I have had similiar situations with other reputable dealers in past, so I know that they can happen. In this case, you are not stuck with the DAWG and on track for a nicer gun. Let us know how the newbie works out when it finds your address. |

Duncan, hoping you come to a good ending to this little saga and can celebrate with a dram or two of any of the following beverages that happen to be in my favorites list:
Glenlevit - I started here and moved up
Dalwhinnie - low buck, high return - what you imagine a scots whiskey would taste like before you had some.
Talisker - a little thinner than Laugavulen
Laugavulen - like a mud pie made from peat and a cigar - awesome
Glenfiddich 18 - not a 'fiddich fan but enjoy this for many reasons mostly it has a bite similar to that from my woman in the throes of passion, not one from a street fight opponent
The Macallan - 10 year fine oak is smoother than the straight 12 year - not really a fan of all the fancy barrel hoo-haa though
glenmorainge - I found it too have a bite like that from a pissed off woman - sharp and hurtful but not heavy or long lasting - too many other flavors out there but if it's on sale...
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go shopping for shells and a bottle...

I go along with the Macallan for most times; I also recommend Laphroiag (spelling may be off) when you want something that sings hymns while it's going down. |

George Tenet sure didnt wait too long. Nor did that dude from the Bay area who was the last of the overseas operational spooks - talk about good reading! I love spook books - sincerely wish I had made a career with the CIA. It's one of those "if I could do it over" type things for me. Too old now at 48 and unfortunately, much smarter. |
