I received my 32 gauge nitro cards from circlefly they fit the R-16 shotcup perfectly. They don't flare the wad pedals like the 28 gauge wads.

The main thing is you are happy.! Laughing I have used the .50 cal cards too. they don't flare the petals either. However, I like the idea of the petals flaring a bit. I think the effect helps strip the wad away from the shot column quicker for the light, close range 3/4 ounce skeet loads I use. works for me.

However, for longer range loads like 7/8 ounce trap loads, perhaps the 32 gauge or .50 cal cards would work better. I say, try them and see. Then, you'll know. Theres room and use for both. Why not use both?!!

Puffed Wheat . . . test-proven to never flare wad petals. Smile

I'm still getting needled by my buddies at the club over my "confetti" loads from several weeks ago. I could just imagine what would happen if my loads started spewing breakfast cereal all over the skeet field. Laughing

Guy, when we're shooting into a head wind fairly early in the morning, the guys on my squad all stand behind me with a glass of milk. Instant breakfast!

I gotta admit, it sounds like a better breakfast than pizza and a beer. Very Happy

Wait a minute, I happen to think cold pizza and beer is a good breakfast. Laughing

Gee, I don't know. You're the one that brought up the subject. Wink

16gaugeguy, if I ever have the honor of meeting you in person. You bet I'm buying the beer and pizza. One of these days a bunch of us 16 gaugers will get together some how. Wink

My 7/8 ounce Puffed Wheat loads are what I refer to as my Audubon loads 'cause all the little dinky birds at the range seem to like 'em.
