Gentlemen:
Got the notice from the club treasurer today - the Graf's delivery truck showed up and left the bi-weekly gifts
2500 cheddite paper hulls are waiting for my pick-up Saturday am. Just think, I can shoot 5-6 rounds of skeet, pick up paper hulls, and head back to the reloading room
I can smell that paper on Sunday am already..... yum |

Doc: I know some reloads have been sent out for tests. What components do you intend to use? Will you be using plastic wads?

Compared to the 12 Gauge Federal Paper tube, the Cheddite paper tube is noticeably thinner. It is a similar thickness to the plastic hull (which is why Cheddit can use their existing plastic basewad with the hull.)
I would not expect great hull life from this design, but if you're hunting with an automatic or pump and lose track of you empties, these hulls are certainly more biodegradable than your standard plastic hull. FWIW.
Maybe once Dave M finishes the initial pressure testing we might be able to get Tom Armburst's comments on how "crispy" the hull mouth gets after firing.
