Watch out now. Found this little Sauer a month and a half ago. Had the stock bent to my dimensions, and must have had the gunsmith perform a magic spell on it. I shot, yesterday, better than I ever have before.
Dropped a Chukar clean at 55 yards, from IC barrel. I didn't think it was that far, but we paced it out later.
Anyway, 16 ga. (of course) 6 lbs, 10 oz. 29 1/2" barrels, Intercepting sears, Ejectors. Built, May, 1927. My research shows me that the gun has Grade 14 engraving, but every Grade 14 I ever saw came with a scalloped receiver. If anyone ever saw one like this and knows what it is, let me know. |
