Yikes! Exclamation I'm thinking about getting an older solid ribbed A-5 at a local shop, but it doesn't have an owner's manual, so if I lost one of those parts I wouldn't have a clue!

Maybe after a couple beers... Laughing

With the right turnscrews it's not as intimidating as it looks.
J B Wood's book on Shotgun Disassembly was a great help when I did my sweet.

You are Correct. I took one off my auto 5 20ga to use till I can pick up another. Im also missing an old Browning sling swivel from the butt stock. Check those parts bins and let me know if anyone can spare one.
