Recently a member listed his shotgun for sale. As the for sale area is only to post an item for sale and ask questions of the seller, I will continue the discusion here.

Charles, I agree and I think some of the posts here were borderline (if not actual) violations of the rules and the seller was being very kind for not taking the intermeddler to task.

That anyone would excuse his bad conduct with an absurd rationalization that his bad mouthing an item may have helped sell the item rather than by a public apology, is simply amazingly poor manners.

It is one of the bad sides of human nature to speak without thinking and it is even easier to do typing on the key board. I see it everyday in my business. I myself have been guilty of this many times as a young man. I think that our members will in the future not cross this bridge of manners again. This is a terrific group of people that make up the 16 ga. Society and will continue to be.
