But I liked it any way.
Ted Nugent on deer hunting.
He was being interviewed by a British journalist. The journalist asked,
"What do you think the last thought is in the head of a deer before you
shoot it? Is it, `Are you my friend?` or is it `Are you the one who
killed my brother?'"
Nugent replied, "They aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they
care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw
next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like
the French in that way." |

Somebody Emailed that to me a couple months ago and said that it was a French journalist. In any case, Ted is right on the money with his reply. |

Nuge rocks....I mean aside from the guitar stuff. He was a reserve Michigan officer for a time, was heavily involved in the D.A.R.E. Program with us when it started, runs "Camps For Kids" and lobbies heavily for hunting and gun rights. Of course the thing I like most about him is that he cuts straight through all of the BS and doesn't give a damn about the politically correct crap.
Check out his book "God, Guns, and Rock 'N' Roll" for the story on him. Strong values, hates drugs and gang members.......I can relate.
He is very well read and able to make his point. One of his best performances was when he ripped apart that liberal jerk Bill Maher and his show guests on the issue of gun control...wish I had it on tape. Maher said something to the effect....."even if I had a gun, I don't think I could shoot someone to defend myself"......amazing, but this is the age of the wimp. Uncle Ted took him to school. |

I don't think you can neatly call Bill Maher a liberal jerk, since, he has some views that don't square in the liberal weenie camp, like support for the death penalty. However, with his near pedophile penchant for women in their early 20s (he is in his 50s) one could call him simply, "a jerk".
Would love to have seen The Nuge dress his butt down, however. Maher is a windbag that needs far more of that. Where can I see a replay or read the transcript?
Best,
Ted |

Ted,
I'm not sure how to track it down, it was 2 or 3 years ago and I believe the show was "Politically Incorrect". That is about all I remember. I spoke with one of Nugent's guys after a Michigan deer hunt awhile back. I'll see if I can make contact and find out if it's available anywhere. One of the panel guests was Gloria Allred. Ted took her on also. They just couldn't put their spin on him. |

I doubt 16's are Ted's style. I'd say he's more a 3-1/2" 12ga mag guy. |

Yeah, might be true. But he likes bows, so he might fall in love with the 16 if he was properly introduced. |
