Anyone headed to Channing June16th? I plan to go, but doubt I'll find anyone to go with me. Just thought I'd see if anyone from the society is going.
Later,

Sounds like fun but I have an industry event I must attend. |

I plan to go visit Saturday as a spectator with hopes to participate next year. Unfortunately, personal commitments conflicted with Sunday's schedule for this years event. |

I'll be there with another Parker Putz.
We don't shoot the event, because I leave to head home on Sunday morning. will be shooting side events on Fri. and Sat. They need to change the schedule a little. You should practice thurs, shoot fri. and sat. then travel home on Sunday.
Oh well, you can't please everyone. |

Paul,
I will be staying at the Woodlands Motel.
It's on the west end of Iron Mtn. just before 95 north.
We are usually setting in the parking lot on Thurs. evening, having cocktails. Stop by for a cold one. Don't count on your cell phone working up there. |

Dave -
would you happen to be bringing a setter with you?
I'm in the "research" phase of acquiring my next dog and E.S. is pretty high on the list!

I wasn't planning on bringing my dog. But I did get him up in your area.

My Setter is Mickey, on they're web page. They have great dogs, and my next one will come from them also. |

I will be there--probably without a 16 this year, however. Shooting the event, as I have for a few years now. Not a really serious competition; just a lot of fun, and a pretty good opportunity to win a double. (I think about 10% of the participants win a gun.) Also lots of nice guns to look at, including quite a few for sale--both by dealers and individuals. |
