I kid you not! Instead of lead and steel, a new firm is loading shells eith food seasonings. On their website, they claim an effective distance of 45 yards.
Check out www.seasonshot.com
Their claim is that the bird is seasoned when shot, and can then be cooked whole without worrying about breaking a tooth on the pellets.
Duncan(Britgun) is, as we speak, loading some shells with garlic, rosemary, salt, thyme, and pepper. Instead of a filler card, just add olive oil! Think about the possibilities. Shoot a head of lettuce and have an instant side salad. |

WOW !
I sure hope the pressure will be low enough for my old guns and loaded in 2 1/2'' shakers / hulls or whatever for these short chambered klunkers I own
I just looked at the site and still can't believe this. Its 90 degrees here and I been in the sun all day so I thought I might be dreaming this. Did notice that there was no mention of making it in 16 ga. I'm going back to the tractor |

I doubt that it will be available in 16 ga. unless everyone clicks on the "contact us" icon and asks. Just maybe they'll start. Who knows, maybe they will make the shot available seperately for you reloaders.
As of right now, the projected availability date, on a limited basis, will be Sept, 07. |

Any load in 16 is worth our attention B)
Personally, I've been keeping my load secret until now - it's a sea salt & black & white pepper corn shot buffered with a secret mix of paprika and "other spices" recipe - available in 2 1/2" loads soon - BAM! |

O.K. I get it ... April Fools ! But check out their website... I did. Hell, I'm still skeptical. But, I'd buy a box and give it a try. |

I'm gone for a week and this is the first thread I read What's next---hulls that you can wipe your hands with after eating kinda like the wet-nap fold up tissues |
