I have been watching for a adult size barrel for my youth express. (22" s too short for wing shooting imo).
of course remington has stopped production , as of this year, on the 870 16's.
I have been watching several auction sites for a bbl.
so I called remington yesterday, hopeing to order one.
I was told that there are no factory replacement barrels available for the express models. you can get wingmaster bbl, darn near a dime a dozen. and you can get a slug bbl. but NO field bbl.
looks like what I may have to do is buy an adult model express and remove the bbl for my own keeping.
If I do that, I will buy a slug barrel, put it on the adult model. then have the safety/trigger transferred to left hand, and give it to my bro.
I know we are a minority, but come on, no factory replacement parts? |

Hey Dopey,
If you decide to buy a whole gun here you go.
