I just needed to comment on some terrific work done by Briley. I left them my Sauer Knockabout side lock when my students and I were in Houston for the Browning/Briley shoot in April. The old girl needed to have her ribs relayed. The bottom rib had come lose and the forearm hanger had begun to move. I specifically said I was in no rush for the gun just to do the best that needed to be done.

Well, she came back yesterday and man what a job. She is as slick as ever and the bbls look great. You can not tell that the bbls have been touched and they were re-blacked as well. The Krupp emblems on top of the barrels are as clear as they were when I left the gun. The rib work is fantastic. Clean as a whistle.

I shot the gun today at a pattern board and at clays with my class. The patterns are in perfect order and she breaks clays with authority.

I have my friend back..................

I met Bruce at the Rend Lake Shooting Complex in Southern Illinois while on a day of shooting with some of my family on Saturday.

That Sauer was a very nice double. Great shape and at just over 5lbs, you could carry her all day. Briley did a great job. Very nice gun!

It was a wonderful day of shooting. I put just over 300 rounds through my 12ga, 16ga, and 410 that day.
