I recently sold my MEC Sizemaster with plans to purchase a progressive 16 gauge reloader for speedier reloads. Does anyone make a 16 gauge progressive reloader besides MEC that is worth looking into? I wanted a PW, but they only have a single stage. I use my 16 for clays and the singles are very slow. Also what is the differnce between the 9000 and Grabber<

Thanks!

Pw doesn't say so in there catalog, but they make both the 800+ and the Platinum 2000 in 16. You just have to call and say you want it.

When I asked why they don't list the availability in 16, the reply was "Very few people ask us for it." Doh!!!!!!!!

I haven't owned either a PW or a Mec progressive so I don't know first hand. I decided the 375 in 16 was adequate for my needs,, and I love it.

Judging by info I can glean from catalogs and owner reports, I'd say either will do the job, but let's face it, the PW is the cadillac, but you pay for it.

The differences between the 8567 Grabber and the 9000 are;
1 9000 auto indexes 8567 does not
2 9000 auto ejects last shell 8567 does not
3 Price $60 approx. difference

I have 3 8567's (12,16,20) and I don't think a 9000 would speed me up to much to make a difference.
All who I talked to love their 9000's though.
