I had the chance to meet and visit with the owners this weekend.
Great guys and very friendly. We talked about ammo, reloading, and old shotguns. There product line continues to grow and they hope to be adding some spreader loads in the furture. For anyone that shoots an older gun, or is looking for some specialty loads. Give these guys a try.
I picked up a case of the 28 gauge, 2-1/2" lite loads, just for woodcock.
Regards, Dave Miles |

These shells intrigue me, after having such great success with the Kent 1 oz loads both on MI grouse and SD pheasant. I suppose there is no reason I can't run them through my 2 3/4" chamber guns, much like a 2 3/4" 12 ga in a 3" chamber gun, right?
How consistent is the shot size? How fast are they? What else can you tell me? |

From what I've seen these are quality shells at a decent price |

I've always liked them in my two trigger doubles, both 16 and 12 ga. But I have no experience using them in an inertia trigger double gun. Does anyone have any experience there?? |

Good point, PGG. I was thinking about running them through my Citoris. Anyone have experience? |

I've shot quite a few of the 2.5" lite loads in 6s on pheasants. They are great shells and knock the birds down quite well.
I have shot them in my Citori Feather a couple of times. I did have a few problems with them not resetting the second shot. I took the gun in and had an adj made to better handle the light recoil and then had no more problems. |

Exactly what I became concerned about, once PGG mentioned it. If they won't reliably reset for the second shot, particularly in a Feather, how well are they going to do in a steel-framed Citori with even more mass? Plus, I don't really want to take my Feather in to be tweaked, because life if a series of compromises, and I would then become concerned about what would happen if I run 1 1/8 oz shells through it.
Even if I could become "front-brain" convinced that it wouldn't hurt anything, the nagging doubt from the back of my head would diminish my hunting pleasure. |
