Midway USA has just become a dealer for Baschieri & Pellagri "B&P".
They seem to have a good selection of shot sizes in 16g 1 1/16 loads.
the web address is www.midway-usa.com |

Is there any reloading data available for the B&P hulls? I don't recall seeing any in any of the usual reloading locations, i.e., Lymans 5th edition, powder mfg. manuals, Low Pressure Society, etc.
Their stuff looks to be a bit pricey but if it is quality ammunition I'd be willing to give it a try. |

Art--There is one(1!) recipe for the B&P hull on the 16ga. reloader site, or at least that was all I could find the last time I looked. The wads are available from Precision.
As has been discussed here previously, the B&P shells are premium loads but are fast (1300fps+)and consequently seem to have heavy recoil--not bad in the field but aggravating at the range.
My previous experience with their representative Mike Dotson was far superior to my recent dealings with Keltran-Pettibone. You perhaps will have a more pleasant experience |

Thanks Woodcock. Did the gentleman you referred to have a more than somewhat nasty disposition by any chance? |

I have had good luck with the current importer on line. Ordering shells via the internet gets free shipping and no local sales tax. There is no interpersonal contact--unless you require it.
I don't think Mike Dotson is involved with B & P any longer. The new importer is in IL and has the B&P line, Lapua, and European powders and soon wads.
I just had 5 flats drop shipped. I especially like their 7/8 ounce 12 gauge offerings. |

I have also had good luck with the present importer. I got in 10 cases of 16 gauge shells two months ago. I tried to get three cases of 12 gauge hunting shells yesterday but could only get two in one loading with the other case in another loading back ordered.
I like the shells for hunting. They are too expensive for me to use for informal clays. |

B&P used to make a 16 gauge 1 oz lower velocity load that was great for clays and doves. It was a yellow hull. I don't see it listed anymore. Too bad. |
