Well I went to Cabela's today with the wife to pick up some Estate ammo that they had and put aside for me when I called to make sure they had it.

Anyone that has been to Cabela's knows you can't go there and not walk through at least the Gun Library. Right? I really wasn't looking to buy anything, just look.
Almost got all the way around and back out the door when I spotted a Citori in 16ga. in one of the display cases. Of course I had to at the very least LOOK at it. Actually the wife told me to look at it. Said something like, might as well look at it since we are here. OK, I did.
Real nice dark wood, tight as new, blue on receiver and barrels is great, but a few dings and handling marks in the stock. Most likely from hunting because this gun looks like it was carried a little and shot less. Very Happy
It even came with the original box.

So after hours (probably about 1.5 minutes) and a quick negotiation with the Asst Mgr, we went from $1300 to $1175 to $1150 and sold. Wink
Plus I got another $30 off at the counter with a coupon and I used $20 of Club $$ I had sitting around. So for $1097 I bought it.

Only little draw back are the 26" barrels but I can live with them. It had 1 extra choke tube with it, 4 instead of 3. That's ok I don't use them anyway. I've got 2 sets of TruLock tubes that I will use.

So I got a new Citori as well as 6 cases of Estate 16ga in 8s.

A good day at Cabela's.

And it sounds like a nice deal at that.

Shoot it well.

I'm already thinking about that. Very Happy If they don't, I'm sure they can be made to. Wink

WW,

I won't say it was a great find or anything but the price was in the ball park from what I have seen here and on other sale sites.

I figure I can't get hurt with it. I can always sell the Feather and be ahead of the game. Very Happy
I wish it had 28" barrels but, oh well. It is nice and tight for sure and the blue even on the receiver looks like new. The only way you can tell it's used are the marks and dings on the stock. One of them will be going as soon as the stock is cut and the recoil pad put on it. Wink
