Does anyone know if the problem Browning had with the salt wood stocks (corroding the metal) in the late 60's early 70's was present on the Liege?

Thanks,
Marc

The Liege was first sold in this country in 1973 which is just out of the 'salt wood' era.
But by now ANY salt wood gun would have exhibited signs of rust. I have purchased and will continue to purchase guns in the 'salt wood' years with no qualms as long as they exhibit no signs of rust. I even have the AgNO3 solution made up to test for salt and never use it. Dealers I know and deal with don't worry about it either. Time has passed. -Dick

Thanks a bunch. That is what I had hoped.
