I'm looking for some specific parts, inclding but not limited to: breech bolt, locking block etc but will consider buying a complete gun that is suitable for salvaging parts.

Wondered if you attended auction and if you recalled a Sweet 16 from Belgium with box that was sold??? This one slipped away from me last week. Was it sold? Auction price?

As things go, this is a sad story. One of the old pistol shooters in the club - sometimes a trap shooter - was diagnosed with cancer in the kidney about 18 months ago. They got it out and he went through chemo and radiation and no sign of further trouble until it showed up in his liver about 4 months ago. He passed away about 3 weeks ago and, although out of town, I contributed to funds for widow and did not think more about it.

Well, yesterday his best friend stopped me in the club parking lot and handed me about 500 Remington SP-16 wads and said that they had found these going through the shells and 47 guns for the widow. He also said they had looked for me last weekend (I was in Orlando) as there had been a 90% belgium sweet 16 with box in the collection and wondered if I was interested. Of course I said yes, only to find out that it gone off to Mattoon Confused

. Too late to stop it. If only they had called, I would have offered top dollar to the widow - no questions asked.
