I almost bought this gun and probably will regret this. Today myself and a couple of buddies stoped at the Gander Mtn. in Eden Prarie, MN and there was a 16ga. citori lightning (new) on a clearence rack for $1299. The only reason I didn't jump on it was the 26" barrels. I might of been able to live with them for that price. Well the trip wasn't a complete loss as one of my buddies bought a mint older 1100 (12ga.) for $239 Very Happy

I picked one up just like it about 3 weeks ago. Mine was a used gun, but other than a couple of nicks in the stock, I assume from hunting, the gun had no bluing wear, was tight as a drum etc. It even came with all the original paperwork in the original box.

I shot it last week and I'll tell ya, those short barrels are sweet.

They were asking $1375 for it at the Hamburg, Pa Cabela's.
I paid $1150 for it . So I would say that price isn't bad for a NIB.

I've had a granlightining for over a year and really like it. The majority of my hunting is for grouse and woodcock, so I like the 26" bbls with a couple of skeet tubes.

Same here......I have Grans in 16 and 20. The 16 has 28" barrels, the 20 has 26".........they are both great, but I love the 26" barrels on the 20. Very quick.
