Fin, how'd you know???? After looking into it, I found it was my extraordinary skill as a winghot rather than the firearm, so I'm trying something else |

What the H E double LL is going on with you thudddddster?
I get myself busy for 2 days and you're buying guns all over the place. Some down right UGLY ones I might add. If you want to weave baskets then weave them. Don't buy guns that wear them.
Now if you need to get a nice pointy dog, I'll call my breeder and get you a REAL WORKING dog. Not an overweight swamp dog.
I'll give you a call later tonight and catch up on what is left in your safe. |

Last I heard, Larry had graduated to a pair of English guns, which, is more in line with a retired Colonels pay grade, assuming he doesn't have a bunch of different child support payments going out every month. When he was writing about Stevens and other cheapies, I 'kinda wondered about that.
Anyway, me Tobin most definately takes umbrage at being called French-it's Canadian, eh, just like Bob and Doug, you hoseheads. If you know your history, it was the French who taught Lyman C. how to build fluid compressed steel tubes for his guns, freeing him from those Belgians, but, not cracked stocks, and the French taught the English how to build a game gun just after Oliver Cromwell bit the dust. They had been netting birds, and shooting them on the ground with telephone pole looking guns of their own design, up 'till then. Heathens. You still can't get a good glass of wine or slice of cheese there, for crying out loud.
Reminds me, I 'gotta start looking around for some ammunition for my Darne 12, I've just about used up all the Eley Super Game 67mm loads I bought ten years ago or so, and nothing hits harder then my little French 12 loaded with English ammunition, after all. Except, maybe, my little French 20 loaded with American ammunition....
Best,
Ted |

Let me know if he stalls any longer. |
