Hah, not even close as far as I see it. It's going to look worse in person. I basically don't try to "grade" guns below 80% as there's so much variance. I'd call that a "Decent gun with honest hunting wear". |

The seller is highly suspect, and is fairly skilled at posting out-of-focus pics (ie. the buggered screws on the R side of the receiver.) Possibly a 50% gun.

I'll second the Good Rev's opinion. |

Highly suspect is too polite! This guy is a very well known butcher and case color by the torch artist. Don't buy anything from this phoney. He picked this gun up on auction recently and it was not described as a 95 % at that time. |

I have been cruising the auction sites for going on 2 years and have yet to find a 16 I'm comfortable bidding on.
I wonder whenever I see something like this just who the dealer thinks he is kidding. Calling a gun 95% when it obviosly isn't just doesn't make any sense, at least to me. Oh well. |

In todays world, we have a considerable amount of new shooters getting into the game. Also there is always new people that are finding interest in collecting. This is especially true in SxS guns.. A lot of these people are quite naive and tend not to do a lot of homework.. These are the ones that dealers like Ed Goode, depend on to buy his wares.. There are bidders outthere that have never seen a 95% gun and some that don't know the difference between true case color and torch colors... MDC |

Take a pass on this. Should be 59% not 95%. Beware the Master Gunsmith Ed! |
