< 16ga. Guns ~ Beretta frame size & weight? |

Anyone know if the Beretta 409P, 16ga was on a 12, 16 or 20 frame and what should they weight.
Have a chance to buy one in mint condition from another city --- the seller isn't knowledgeable about frame size and such.

Dave,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I only wish I was an expert on Beretta. They like so many mfg's in the early years kept few records and had many variations. About the time I think I have seen it all a different Beretta variation shows up. It certainly keeps me humble. One thing for sure the sub gauges demand high dollars when a dealer gets them. Private sale is about the only reasonable price any more.

Ron,
I e-mailed you years ago about Beretta's when I had questions. I trust your word more than others. As for the above gun. Is it on a designated 16 gauge frame? |
