Greetings from Minnesota,
I've been peeking in on you guys for quite a while now, so I thought I ought to join up, pay dues, buy a pin and a cap and chuck the b.s. with the best of you... Laughing
I'm currently awaiting word from Paul at Browning on his status in locating a BPS Upland 16 for me. After reading the positive field reports and reviews, I hope he's successful! I have a trip for ruffs coming up and would like to be swinging that 16.
The BPS would be my 2nd 16. So far, all I have is my trusty Springfield single. Plenty of 12s in the vault, but it's apparent the 16 wins hands down as the very best all-around bore.

Dan,

Good to have another Minnesota Boy with us. My son and I each bought BPS Fields from Jed at the General Store in Osakis, MN. Got my son to join the 16ers so I hope we can keep the growth going for generations to come. Jed said his supplier had an Upland on hand at that time but it was a few weeks ago. If you want to call him his number is 320-859-5159.

I live in Glenwood. Maybe we can do some hunting sometime.

Welcome aboard. Super freindly place and the information and education available here is unbeatable Smile .

Welcome Dan, to the mutual admiration society of the 16 bore. Now that you have stopped lurking, start contributing!

It was posted on another thread that Browning only made 235 upland BPS with 26" barrel. Even less with 24". You'll own a rare bird if you manage to find one, as I doubt Browning will be making another production run soon. Good luck.

Yep, another Midwesterner in the ranks!
Browning is good enough to attempt to coax one of those Uplands from a dealer that ordered one a while back. I'm a member of the OWAA and will be able to (fortunately) snag the 16 at a steep discount. If not the Upland, then the Hunter would fit the bill nicely, too.
To me, that sixteen'd be the clear ticket for all my upland and waterfowling needs.
Good to be here and thanks for the welcome. Very Happy
Dan
