Wow, I am impressed! I got the Upland w/ the 26" barrel.
The wood is not without some interesting graining - but far from fancy. I guess I like it so much because of it's elegant simplicity (love that straight, narrow grip) and for the simple fact that it's a 16!
Boy oh boy, this thing will take care of a lot of hunting situations.

I'll get the digital fired up one of these days and lay some pics on ya...I'd rather wait and include a deceased bird with the gun. Wink
I also ordered a Browning leather choke tube case.
Can't be wearin' no cheap-azz nylon case on my belt, don'tcha know! Laughing

i'm picking up my BPS upland 16 26" today as well at my local shop. and will go on an armed hike for the elusive blue grouse this afternoon in the Roaring Fork if the weather allows. will take photos and hopefully weigh it at the dealer as well to give you guys some more numbers to play with.

wish me luck... with the grouse, not the weight.

have pointed but never owned a straight grip - should be fun to try something new.
