One of the nice things about living in Mew Mexico is our liberal limit on Collared Dove. We have no limit on collareds, we can hunt them from 9/1 to 12/30.
I received my BPS16 on 9/28, so I only had two days to try it out on White Wings and Mourning Dove. Thank goodness for collared dove, as I have been out a few times for them. And they are not too difficult to identify from the other two species.
Here is a picture of the newest member of the Cabinet.

Your BPS looks to have a nice dark stain to it. I'm hoping my 28" Hunter will have a similar finish.
What kind of ammo is that your shooting?......Looks like a box of old Peters.
Best,

It is an old box of Peters. Get your minds out of the gutter here guys.
Priced at 3.88 for the box in 1972. Price tag is still on it from Gibson's. Guess the cost of shells hasn't gone up that much. It took three hours of work back in 1972 to pay for that box of shells. Guess it was a matter of priorities. |

Good to see it won't be a safe queen. Thanks for sharing. |

3crosses -- Thanks for posting. Is that the 26" barrel version? Have you put it on a scale?
Browning customer service told me today that the Uplands with 24" barrel have been delivered to their distribution center, but they said orders are yet to be shipped.

Yes I have the 26" barrel. The gun weighs in at 7 lbs 3 oz. and I seem to shoot it well. |
