Meet Miss Libby ~

I used to live in Alaska.

Libby Riddles was/is quite a dog handler/musher.

I figure Libby is a good name for this little one. She'll teach me much I'm sure.

I'll go get the 16ga BPS on Tuesday. Life is good. Wink

Yessir!

I have daydreamed of Appalachian grouse for some time now. Life is short. I need to make the daydream a reality.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

You Sir, obviously have great taste in dogs and gauges.

I had been raised with dogs in the house. I have also owned dogs as an adult my entire life, and I am in my mid 50's now. The past seven years I have been graced with one swell Brittany, and I realize I had squandered many years with other breeds. Sure, I had the pleasure of some great companions, but never have I had my life so enriched as I have had with this Brittany.

May your Brittany bring you the same pleasure, joy and satisfaction as mine has for me.

Thanks Grousen.

It's 5:42 am here on the east coast and I just took her out from her kennel for a relief break. She went straight away.

I've been trying to take her out about every two hours or so and after eating/drinking. The last time was 1:00 am. Her kennel is still dry. Only one small tinkle so far on the linoleum, but I think that was my fault. I got her excited as I was asking her if she needed to go outside. If things keep progressing this way, which I know it might not, she sure is one smart pup.

Earplugs have helped with the kennel part. She howls for about 10 minutes then settles down.

I think I have a new owner. My wife just may have to step aside. Laughing

Just and idea--------when you pick up the new gun take a picture of the new dog and the new gun. When they connect with thier first bird together take another picture and put both pictures in the same frame Wink She's a dandy for sure.
