In anticipation of my future ammo needs, I am considering buying a quantity of loaded or empty primed hulls. The loads that I plan to use range from 3/4 oz. to 1 1/8 oz of lead. I shoot about 250 rounds a year at clay targets to tune up for the bird season and a lot less for birds. For some reason, the crimps on Federal hulls from my MEC Jr. are not pretty, but most others are okay. I have around 750 Multi-hulls from BP that load very nice, but have no data on the hulls longevity. Any help will be appreciated. |

If you have 750 of the B-P multi hulls and are only shooting about 300 rounds a year. They should last you about 10 years. None of the 16 gauge hulls are real good for multiple loadings. But I manage to get 4 or 5 loads out of the Cheddite hulls. |
