My buddy Kwenton and I just got back from 15 months in Iraq. Long conversations about bird hunting kept us sane while we were there, so today we made good on our talk. We went to a preserve just west of Fort Bragg called Tobacco Stick and shot 8 pheasants each (we both shoot Superlight Feathers--he shoots a 12; I shoot a 16).
These pics are from the beautiful banks of the Tigris river and Tobacco Stick, respectively.
Blessings,
Phil

Welcome Home Chaplain!!! And thank you for your service. If you ever get by the Washington DC area, let me know. You can be my guest for a couple of rounds of skeet at my local club.

I was in for 3yrs (86~89). Other than basic & jump school at Benning, I was there at Ft. Bragg. |

Welcome home, Warriors. Many an hour was spent talking with my buddies about the hunting we were going to do when we got back. I am glad to see you with birds in hand.
Thanks for having our backs.
