Ok I want to try another load and I need to know if anyone has crossed the bridge before me.
Remington SP, black game load, hull.
Winchester 209 primer
1& 1/8 ounces of 7.5 or 8 shot
BP Trap Commander wad
Longshot powder ?????
Looking for + or - 1200 FPS and 8500 to 9500 PSI
Similar loads use 21 to 25 grains but I see nothing anywhere with the exact load combination.
As always any and all good advice will be greatly appreciated.

How does one go about having a pressure test and chrono test done?
If you find the proper grains??? Then you could do several pattern tests if all turned out ok. It would then be good to know the FPS and PSI.

UPS three rounds to Tom Armbrust, Ballistic Reserach, 1108 W May Avenue, McHenery Il 60050-8918 along with $15.00. Be sure to weigh each load on a good scale and include the load data. He will mail you the results of the test. |
