| Given the concern about lead, I am starting to explore options. Does nice shot load the same as lead, can you use the same data. I may buy several lbs as it will probably only get more expensive. What size shot for pheasants and what for grouse? |

| As long as you load by charge weight and not by volume you will be OK. I think I would want to load up one size from my usual load 5 for pheasant and 6 for grouse but it really depends on pellet count if 6 gives you 300 pellets per ounce it would be about perfect for grouse and even good for quail. |
