Have the Mod; want to get IC and/or SK or CYL if they were made. (?)
Others? I believe there was a polychoke too-???
Educate me and let me know if you have any kicking around or know where they might be had.
Many thanks,
Rizzy

Hello, Corson Barrels has 16 gauge Cutts chokes, expensive, but they have them, I went the cheaper route, I took my 16 Gauge Full choke, which I never inteded to use and chucked it in my lathe and bored it out to .71875. Yes I know that is too large :>)) but I wanted to see what would happen if I used a 23/32 drill bit. Now it made the full length choke very thin, but I trimmed it back to what a Spreader Choke would be in length and shot it tonight and it was just fine. I would suggest 11/16 to start with. Yes, I know boring is truer, but this was a test and it turned out just fine this time. Use lots of fluid and clear the chips OFTEN. The Cutts 16 gauge chokes were made in Special, Spreader, Mod, Full and Adjustable.
My Cutts Special is factory stamped and is .720 Gunbroker has 16 gauge chokes for auction right now. Enjoy the day, Mike |

Thanks Skeet TX...so much for the handy info. I had thought-sure, why not bore out a FULL and go with that-and I'll try it. An ideal choke for sporting is a tight IC or Light Mod anyway. Many thanks.

Did you ever do the do? Bore out the choke, I mean? If so, how did it work for you?
