Hello All,
Just got a great deal on 25 boxes of 16ga (10 per box) # 5 Tungsten Matrix. $325 CDN funds. Will # 5 be ok dor decoyed blacks & mallards?
Anyone have experience with these?

As long as your decoys are inside 65-70 yards you will be fine.

Great buy!!! It can be a 1 1/16 oz. or a 1 1/4 oz. load and do the job for you. I haven't found a duck or pheasant that wouldn't fall with in range. You will do fine.

Actually, it was a private deal with a guy that took then on trade. At $45.00 a box locally, I Jumped at the offer. Actually I got 27 boxes. Should last me a while. Very Happy
Cheers, John

It's nice when you can come across a good deal and can take advantage of the situation...

Good shooting and enjoy your TM...

You will be more than pleased at the terminal performance of the TM #5 over decoys. I assume they were 1 1/16oz? Those were a little faster, about 1300+fps. They work beautifully on decoying ducks.
