I have a case of Eley VIP Game loads from 2005 (before they changed the
velocity and pressue ratings). My question is are they safe to use in my
6 1/4 lb. 16 gauge english boxlock? It has 2 3/4 chambers, is marked for
1 1/8 loads and I have had the forcing cones lengthed. Also if they are safe
for my gun, will the recoil make me wish I had not asked......l
