The good news!!! A very crisp Hunter Arms LC Smith Featherweight frame 16 ga. Field grade with 28 inch barrels. Blue and case colors are original and 95 and 90% respectively. Case colors are vivid. Trigger guard blue is 98%. Screws are nice. Bores and mechanics are excellent. Unaltered 2 1/2 inch chambers. Very tight and shot minimally. Ser# 1335xx. The bad news!! The gun was shortened for a smaller shooter and a flat morgan pad was added. LOP is 13 1/2". SO--if you can shoot a shorter stocked gun--or you want to put a slip on pad on the gun--or you want to restock--this gun is a very good deal at $1350 delivered in the lower 48. Email wdavis8679@aol.com for pix. Or call-609-658-7739. Thank you. |

The serial number indicates a made date of 1931. In the 20s and 30s, most makers held there chambers about 1/8" shy. So it's very likely he could have a 2 1/2" chambered gun, made for the 2 5/8" cartrige.. MDC |
