Are Rem and Win 16 ga. hulls tapered on the inside like they are in the 12 ga.? I assume all the euro hulls (Fiocchi, Rio, etc.) are straight walled. If so, what are the preferred wad choices for types hulls? |

No, all current 16 gauge hulls are straight sided. The current Winchesters are Cheddite, as are RIO, RST, Polywad, etc. The Remington and Federal hulls are each of their own design but are also straight sided.
To also answer your other thread - all current 16 gauge hulls are about equally poor for reloading when compared to the WWAA and Remington hulls in 12, 20, 28.
However, what we've got is what we've got so we reload the 16 gauge hulls that are available. |
