I have read on this forum before about how poor 16ga hulls are.

How many reloads are people getting out of each hull?

If I roll crimp (which I almost always do), I get at least three loads out of the Cheddites, then trim them to 65mm and use them about twice more.

I have had about the same use with BPI's Multi-hull.

Fiocchi varies. Some I use only once, and have to trim, others last like the cheddites.

I don't load much of the commercial brand hulls.

I use the cheddite hulls. I average 14 to 15 loads per hull. I use a 6 point crimp. about 8 to 9 loads and I trim them back to 2 1/2". At about 12 to 13 loads I start to cull out the ones that are beginning to split. Continue to cull out the split ones from then on. Some remain to be loaded as many as 18 times. Some time ago I switched to the size master loader so as to have the collet type resizer. With the Mec junior the base would push down so that by the time I loaded them 9 or 10 times the rim was so thick the gun would not close. the collet resizer fixed that. I also shoot all side by sides, so most chambering issues do not apply.
