| Is it possible/practical to modify a Remington 870 safety button for left hand operation? |

| yes and no. You will have to get a lefthanded saftey. I had to convert my 870 back to right hand when I got the gun from my dad. I think the saftey he had in it was made by Uncle Mikes. |
