I called Claybuster two days ago and asked it the new WAA 16 Replacement wad was optimized for any particular hull. Was told no, but that the wad was made slightly oversize compared to the original Win wad to allow for modern straight walled hulls.
I picked up a bag of the these wads from Gamaliel a month ago and have been loading them in Fed and Fio hulls with both 7/8 oz. and 1 oz. loads.
Seem to load, crimp and shoot very nicely. I have not had the opportunity to pattern them yet, but will post results when I do. |
