I too am new to loading shot shell. I use an adjustable charge bar ( which I love) and must also vaeifythe shot charge as was as teh powder charge.
I use a MTM scale 1250 I believe. It measures Ounces, Grams, Grains, and Carrots.
I have a set of Lyman weights to chackthe scale with and it is dead on.
cost about $30 bucks.
