Wow, that Parker is amazing. What a sweet little gun that should belong in my safe. If only. |

Except it's been restocked with a D grade stock, on a G grade gun |

If that's the case, then he sure isn't shy about asking a lot for it. I just saw an average 12ga H grade Lefever with a tag of $2k on it. The market value on that gun is about $500-700. Ridiculous what some people are asking. |

$2k seems way north of reasonable on that Sterly, also. |

16ga Foxes with 30" barrels aren't all that common; two grand is probably a fair price. |

It may well sell for 2k in the current (IMO) ridiculously-inflated sxs market, but I would hardly call that a 'fair price' for a utility grade gun. |

fin is correct on the 30" 16 SW. It's mainly a supply thing. There just ain't many out there.Custom rebuilders love 30" 20's and 16"s and 32" 12's. Also keep in mind that the degree of finish is the only difference between a Sterlingworth and a grade gun. To customize a Fox, your mainly looking at the barrel lengths and condition, not the grade of the gun, to determine the price. That said, I agree that the prices on Fox and Parker in general are a bit more optimistic than they should be. |

Yeah, I know he's correct - I'm just being a GOM again.
