They were around a year ago when I was looking . I have not seen a Fair for a while in 16 ga . New England Arms had them while they were in business . Cabelas would be your best bet . |

THANKS. I am familiar with the buy out of NEA's stock of these by Cabelas. They are sold out. I thought I might find someone who has one and would like to part with it. Thanks again |

I just saw one at the Cabelas in Richfield WI. It was listed on their website in the gun library. It may be a different model 900,but it had pistol grip not english. 28 in barrel and petty sure it had choke tubes. |

No, I gave up and purchased a new Cortona Prestiege in 16 Ga. These are the new imprts of the FAIR guns, only upgraded. I will receive it this week and post an opinion on it. |

Any feedback on the new gun? Is the prestige the only model they offer in 16GA?

No, they also offter at least the base gun in 16 gauge. My gun arrived today and there is a problem with the forend snapping in place. It just will not lock. My gunsmith called the distributor and we are waiting for a solution. I will know better once they call us back to see what I think of the company, however the gun is very nice with a great stock and nice fit and finish. |

Well, I am still looking for a 16 O/U. The Cortona Prestiege turned out to be a bust. The gun arrived and the forend would not go onto the gun, no matter how hared my gunsmith tried. Also, I was told the gun did not have any dings (this was a sales rep gun) and it sported a large half moon dent right in the middle of the forend. I sent it back and canceled the sale. Be carefull of this line. |
