| I have been trying to find a relative low pressure load for the 8# of nitro 100 powder that is in my shop. I found this load in some old accurate arms spread sheet. Fed. hull, 1 oz. of shot, fed 20A primer,BPSP 16ga wad. pressure, 7300 and the powder is 18.5 grains of nitro 100 powder. The pressure looks to be somewhat low compared to other loads that I have seen for this powder. What does the group think? Also the most important what is the BPSP 16 ga wad? Is there a new wad that replaces this wad? Thanks in advance, Larry |

The BP SP 16 wad would be Ballistic Products Sporting 16 wad.....the Gualandi wad known as the GU1621. I prefer ordering from Grafs...when they have 'em in stock.
I would be suspect of that data. Nitro 100 wouldn't be my choice for a low pressure load. Before I shot any, I would send some off to Tom Armbrust and get them tested.
